Pornhub has announced that it has started accepting both Tron (TRX) and Zencash (ZEN) cryptocurrencies as a form of payment for its premium memberships. The company which is a major adult entertainment site will definitely boost Tron’s legitimacy since entering its own mainnet. This is in spite of, Pornhub being an infamous source.
Through a statement on ZenCash’s official blog, MindGeek which owns 13 other adult resources including Pornhub, confirmed the decision to accept ZenCash across all its products.
Pornhub’s Vice President, Corey Price stated that decentralized payment systems have continued to grow in popularity, and cryptocurrency adoption is exploding across a broad economic spectrum.
Increased attention
Tron has received an increased amount of attention as a result of its mainnet ambitions. However, the interest has been waning off as a result of the cryptocurrency volatile market experienced lately. Since the onset of the declining crypto market, TRX value has been on a steady decline, even though Bitcoin has had a slight recovery in the last couple of days.
Considering its popularity on the entertainment industry, Pornhub’s decision to include TRX as a payment option might kick off another wave of interest on the crypto. The hookup promises both Tron and ZenCash a vast new market. The user base that visits Pornhub’s site is said to be about 90 million people each day. Additionally, MindGeeks audience across all its 14 platforms is said to be in excess of 115 million people on a daily basis.
