PG&E Corporation (NYSE:PCG): Rolling Of Customer Centric Strategies

Today, CPUC has proposed a decision pertaining to a General Rate Case that was pending before the Commission. The proposal amongst other things highlighted the PCG’s strategy for reducing the gas and electric services for the consumers and keeps it below the national average. PG&E Corporation (NYSE:PCG) asked an increase of 17.5 percent as compared to the current approved revenue requirement placed before CPUC.

The decision passed by CPUC has resulted in reduction of the company’s revenue increase request by approximately $707 million. After the interim decision, PG&E is looking forward for increase in attrition of 5.9 percent for 2015 and 6.1 percent for 2016. The company has announced that it will file its comments on the recent decision within 20 days.

PG&E Leading Awareness Campaigns

PG&E Corporation (NYSE:PCG) has recently released an awareness campaign to educate masses about the usage and problems pertaining to use of Metallic Balloons. The awareness campaign was initiated pertaining to multiple injuries and electric supply disruption that occurred last year due to metallic balloons clash with power supply. The company highlighted 300 power outages caused due to metallic balloons that drifted in PCG power lines. The company launched a series important safety measures to check the growing menace.
