Boston, MA 10/03/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Nuance Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) and Elektrobit have joined hands to unveil the integration of voice, as well as, natural language understanding technology. This would make the relationship between human and machine as personal. The launch could not have found a better place than the Paris Motor Show to showcase the technology.

Audi TT Roadster

Elektrobit said that the launch was part of the Virtual Cockpit in the latest Audi TT Roadster, its statement revealed. The company stated that this would result in the drivers able to connect in a more conversational and natural dialogue with Audi’s navigation and infotainment capabilities. This is much like the same way of talking to their friends.

The company indicated that passengers and drivers would be able to control system menu, tuner, phone, and media through intuitive voice commands. Besides, there was also navigation feature through everyday speech. These features meant that there was no need to stick to specific commands.
