The new handset also known as Nokia Normandy has been in the news for the longest time with recent revelation indicating it is ready to hit the markets after receiving full certification from authorities in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Certification process
The product with a model number RM-80 had initially been spotted in Malaysia certification body awaiting inspection for full certification. Later a similar product was spotted in Indonesia certification agency cementing thoughts the device had passed the certification process awaiting full launch into the market. The device is set to fall under Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK)’s flagship device the Asha line that has been performing excellently well in the market. Nokia X features and specs
Nokia X of Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is expected to roll into the market powered by a highly capable dual core snapdragon processor with the capability of clocking up to 1GHZ worth of speeds. This will be sufficient to give it the much needed processing power. It is being reported from various sources the device will pack a snapdragon 200 8225Q processor.
The phone will also pack a 4 inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 480X 854 capable of according it the much needed clarity and vividness. A 5MP camera has also been mooted as a possible addition enough to give it excellent power of taking quality photos and videos. 4GB worth of internal memory will be enough for the phone with the option of expanding its storage capacity via a microSD slot. Nokia X will be powered by a 1500mAh battery capable of giving it the much needed powering power with a 512MBRAM and dual SIM support.
Nokia X will be running on a customized version of Android 4.4 KitKat which will also feature Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK)’s own application store for apps. On the connectivity front, Nokia X will be featuring a 3G WI-Fi capability with Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, AGPS and Micro-USB.
