Boston, MA 09/22/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Neonode, Inc (NASDAQ:NEON) announced that LG has adopted its zForce and zForce™CORE™ AIR technologies in the LG KidsPad 2. The core air technology is deployed for the touchscreen whereas the zForce AIR technology is used for touch functionality when the tablet device is put on any flat surface.
The new technology will allow the users to experience the whole new world of interactive and fun learning. The KidsPad 2 displays a combination of innovative learning applications and interactive games that captures the attention of children and at the same makes it easy for them to use touchscreen functionality inside and outside the device.

The patent covers changing a touch screen instrument from a tap-absent state to a tap-present state. The patent has 44 non-patent citations and 136 patent citations. The issuance of new patent expanded Neonode’s whole product range of sweep gesture patents which have priority dating back to 2002.
There were three more additional US patents issued to Neonode last month. It included patent for the tablet computer, patent for mobile phone and patent for Light-Based finger gesture User Interface. These patents cover multiple features of Neonode’s zForce™CORE™ AIR technology. Now, Neonode, Inc (NASDAQ:NEON) has got 21 patents issued in the US, and the number rises to 49 on a worldwide basis.
