Nearly 160 Jobs Opportunities Are Available at AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) Louisiana

Boston, MA 09/09/2014 (wallstreetpr) – AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T); one of the largest network service provider of the world is looking forward to expanding its services. As per the reports, T has asked for around 160 applications to fill various positions that are available at its Louisiana branch. The company has been investing heavily in Louisiana area; therefore, various technical, retail and customer services related vacancies have popped up in that area. Initially, around 160 positions are there, but the management of T expects to have more vacancies in coming months. As per the reports, T invested around $1.2 billion between 2011-2013 in its Louisiana wired networks and wireless services.

Company’s outlook towards filling these vacancies:

Due to initial needs, most of the vacancies are in technical fields. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) is looking forward to filling these vacancies very aggressively. It doesn’t want to leave any loop-hole in its wireless services that’s why T wants to make its technical team very strong. Unless minimum 80 vacancies are filled, T will continue its technical recruitment drive at Louisiana. So far it has hired around 500 new employees at the local office, out of those 500 employees, more than 200 employees have been hired for technical roles. Last year T hired around 1375 new Louisiana employees. It made around $175 million investment in Louisiana office last year, hence market experts think that the recruitment drive will continue in the same manner in coming months as well.

As per the announcement made by AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), it is looking forward to hiring another 10,000 employees from military veterans and their families across the country over the next five years. The company has also formed a Military Talent Attraction team, which will look after educating veterans and motivating towards joining T. The Military Talent Attraction team will also inform all the veterans about possible career opportunities at T for them.
