Molycorp Inc (NYSE:MCP) shares decreased by 4.10%

Boston, MA 07/12/2013 (wallstreetpr) – On July 11, the shares of Molycorp Inc (NYSE:MCP) decreased by 4.10% in tremendously heavy trading to surpass all other Colorado public firms.

Scrip of Molycorp Inc (NYSE:MCP) closed at $6.79. On Thursday, approximately 9.88 million shares were dealt.

The share price has seen a 52-week high of $20.29 and a low of $4.70 on NYSE. Current EPS stood at -4.42.

The reports stated that the stocks shot up because of “regenerated interest”.

As per analyst Luisa Moreno of Euro Pacific, the scrips augmented owing to the steps taken by China.

Stock rates are going up as China has rolled out a movement to close down the unaccredited mines in China’s Ganzau.

After the market closure today, Molycorp Inc (NYSE:MCP) declared that it will announce the financial outcomes for the second quarterly period ended June 30 this year on August 8.

The declaration of Molycorp’s 2nd quarter outcomes will be accompanied by an investor con call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

Constantine Karayannopoulos, President and CEO, and Michael Doolan, Executive VP and CFO, will host the said call.

The company’s stock has been a long-term loser, shedding around 70 per cent during 2012 to rule at $6.09.

However, that has not stopped a rush of traders from directing the August 7 call.

By picking up the back-month calls for a volume-weighted average price of $0.26, the traders are betting on the company’s shares hitting $7.26 (strike price in addition to volume-weighted average price) by next month’s termination.
