Boston, MA 05/20/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP)‘s UK distributor has alerted Publicans that they might not get Corona in abundance as its brewer AB InBev is unable to deliver a major portion on time.
Corona Shortage
Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP) has noted that it will proactively manage the current Corona stock till further notice as the brewer AB InBev will not be able to deliver orders ranging from January to March on time. The shortage comes on account of an excessive demand at AB InBev’s Mexican brewery, which apparently has led to shortage of the bottles. The company did not specify any accurate date on which the resolution is expected. In the meanwhile, the company’s representative confirmed that the non-delivery of orders would lead to shortage of supplies in the UK, ahead of the world cup. The company’s representative said that they have decided to manage the shortage through rationing till further notice.
No Difficulty Right Now
Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP) said that it will constantly be functioning with AB InBev to make sure of the daily progress and updates so as to review and alter its stock management on an urgent basis. In the meanwhile, Gareth Williams, who is a manager of the Barrels in Hereford said that he is not yet aware of any such supply issues. He stated that he has not heard from either Corona or Enterprise about the shortage in supplies. Williams went on to state that since Hereford is a military area, therefore it sees a lot of young men and women turning up, as they tend to prefer Corona. Williams confirms that he always stacks up Corona and has not ordered during the last week.
On the other hand, Malcolm Nicholls, who owns Pitch Sports Bar & Grill said to have received letter from Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP) about the supply issues but said that at present he is not experiencing any difficulty with placing orders for Corona.
