Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) To Launch An Microsoft Office For Ipad

Boston, MA 02/19/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Speculation is ripe in the tech world that the new Microsoft Office for iPad’scould launchsooner than earlier anticipated.  The release seem to have gathered steam after Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)  executive Vice president of Marketing, Tami Reler gave out a suggestive speech about the ideaby claiming the company was taking a “thoughtful” approach of cross-platform models. The love affair between Office and iPad looks set to continue and could launch even before the release of windows tablets.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)  seem to be bulging, after increased pressure from some of its insiders to allow its software fit  a wide range of devicesas a way of increasing its software coverage across the mobile industry. This willessentially translate to increased revenues in its software segment, as it will cover many more products from other companies such as Apple and Samsung Electronics.

Production of Office suit for iPad is alive and kicking codenamed “Miramar” which is expected to hit the market as early as June this year. This could come earlier, before the release of Windows tablets which were rumored to be the first devices to be fitted with the new iteration of Microsoft Office. It was earlier reported that the new iteration would come in fall season, something that seems to have been accelerated. It is being reported at the moment that the Office version of the iPad is in advanced stages compared its partner version for Windows 8 solution

Reports indicate the new iOS once launched into the market will need an office 365 subscription and a tap into the OneDrive for its main storage repository. The news of its release seem to have been accelerated by Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recent public statements that hinted it could be released earlier than Gemini which is a first windows implementation. Earlier before the suggestive statements by Microsoft, the project seemed to have cooled off especially with the transition of hierarchy power in the company which saw the Steve Ballmer retire as the company chief.

Sources claim the project had been given a-go ahead last year with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s former chief executive Steve Ballmer giving it a heads up. Ballmer had been persuaded beyond doubt by the Office development team to push out the iPad Iteration as soon as it was ready for the market.
