The company claims it wants to create a whole new generation of Windows that is user-friendly, better equipped and with added features.
Extreme Makeover for Windows 10
Appearing on stage at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, Microsoft)’s Windows boss, Tony Prophet,stated that Windows 9 came and went. The giant software company reportedly does not want its next operating OS to be associated with Windows 8 which from the word go has lost its touch with users.
During the conference, Prophet emphasized that Windows 10 will be completely different from Windows 8.1 as the company seeks to develop an ecosystem that connects all the devices with internet capabilities. The company has reportedly changed the way it develops its OS as it seeks to give its new product a good start from the previous products.
Microsoft to Address Enterprise Users Needs
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has already confirmed that it will let people test Windows 10 as it seeks to create a one of a kind product that meets the desires and needs of users. Windows 10 is already in the testing phase having already registered 1 million downloads. The company has promised to respond to each feedback from the ongoing testing on its final product.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s main objective is to build the perfect product that is of benefit to enterprise users who did not respond well to Windows 8 because of its deficiencies. One of the wrongs that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) will seek to address in Windows 10 is the scrapping of the start screen in Windows 8. The move that did not go well with users most of whom don’t have touch screen PC’s.
