Boston, MA 03/05/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Medican Enterprises Inc (OTCBB:MDCN) took a turn upward in the last session, managing to touch a new one-year high end at $3.50. The stock was then last seen changing hands at $3.49 with almost 45 percent gain. MDCN is a health sciences company and is at the forefront in medical cannabis research and production. The company is reportedly working with authorities on marijuana related products. Through MediCan Systems, its wholly owned subsidiary, MDCN is vying to be among the first companies to be licensed in the production of medical marijuana in Canada. Medical marijuana has become a buzz word of late and stocks in the industry are benefiting from the excitement – not the least Medican Enterprises Inc (OTCBB:MDCN).

FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE) shares have gained more than 4.3 percent from the last session. The stock now trades around $88.19 per share. In the last session the stock managed to attain a new one-year high point of $88.49. That move in the previous session was in the opposite direction to the $72 which is the new price target issued on the stock by analysts at Wedbush. The rating firm upped its price target from $65 in the previous note. Wedbush considers shares of FEYE as “neutral” and their price target indicates downside potential of about 15 percent. FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE) announced in a news release issued Tuesday that it was opening a research and development center in Germany. The Dresden center would allow local universities to work in tandem with FEYE team in testing and researching threats to its defense and intelligence technology.

Synacor Inc (NASDAQ:SYNC) releases its fiscal 2013 fourth quarter results Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. In a news release, the company has announced that it will hold a conference call about an hour after stating its quarter financial performance. The company’s executives led by CEO Ron Frankel and chief financial officer Bill Stuart are expected to host the call. Shares of

Synacor Inc (NASDAQ:SYNC) gained more than 2.2 percent in the last trading session to $2.71. The session was characterized with high volume trading and the shares changed hands as low as $2.64 and as high as $2.75 on the day.
