Manitoba Telecom Services Inc (TSE:MBT) Announces Launch Of Revolutionary BlackBerry® Passport

Boston, MA 09/25/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Manitoba Telecom Services Inc (TSE:MBT) has announced that it will soon launch the BlackBerry® Passport, a device designed to enhance productivity while maintaining a high-status quo.

According to a CNW Group published news article, it is expected that MTS Connect Stores will start offering the new BlackBerry Passport as early as Oct 1. The device will be launched at an initial price of $199.99 with a data plan deal of two years’ validity.

Features

BlackBerry Passport features a completely new look and is aimed at enhancing productivity. It features a big square-shaped touch screen and a new QWERTY touch-enabled keyboard. It also supports BlackBerry’s latest 10.3 OS, enabling customers an enhanced vision for mobile business. The device is ideal for all writing e-mails, surfing the Web or editing documents and other business-oriented tasks.

In addition, the 4.5 inch touch screen is designed such that it optimizes screen real estate optimally so as to allow users to read as many as 60 characters per line. More typical of normal touch screens is that they display only 40 characters per line in the portrait mode. Hence, the new device seeks to enhance productivity by offering better and more efficient readability. This, combined with a novel touch-enabled keyboard, proposes to virtually replace the need for a desktop or a laptop.

Special Business-Plans

At the event of announcing the launch of the new device, the Vice-President of MTS’ Business Solutions said that the BlackBerry Passport had been long awaited the company’s wireless products’ pipeline. The new device combines MTS fast 4G LTE wireless network to reach more than 850,000 people of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc (TSE:MBT). MTS also seeks to offer several data plans for the business category with the device, he promised. He also underlined that the device, combined with MTs network, will provide cutting edge experience in mobile computing.
