International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT) Seeks Expansion In Asia- Partners With Matsui Gaming Machine LTD

Boston, MA 05/23/2014 (wallstreetpr) – International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT) has announced partnering with Matsui Gaming Machine LTD while seeking to expand the company’s global presence.

After IGT’s triumphant presence at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, it has proudly announced the new partnership. Matsui has a consistent and successful record for business across Asia and has been chosen by IGT to act the exclusive distributor for the company’s Electronic Gaming Machines. In this context, IGT’s Senior Vice President of International Sales, Sabby Gill, said that International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT) is aiming at a long term expansion in Asia. He said that Matsui would offer his company a great opportunity to grow its brand in the Asian market. He believes that this opportunity will lead them to demonstrate their strength in the emerging market of the continent.

Gill further said that Matsui has honored International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT) by choosing it to fulfill its requirements of the best in class games to serve the company’s customer base. On the other hand, IGT also sees Matsui as its primary choice in achieving its endeavor of establishing itself in popular gaming areas of Asia. Matsui has head offices located in Tokyo and also has manufacturing and operations facilities in Seoul. Matsui’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Takashi Matsui, expressed in delight in being the only distributor of IGT games in Korea, where he said, they intend to bring the company’s latest games as well as systems in the country’s casinos.
