Boston, MA 08/18/2014 (wallstreetpr) –Designer and manufacturer of integrated digital technology platform Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) may release the most-powerful chip stuff next month compared to the currently available stuff. This will help the PCs to be more powerful to come to the aid of the businesses who handles a big number of simultaneous workloads.
Xeon Chip
The fight between Intel and its arch-rival And Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD) is well known, and both were trying to outwit each other with fresh launches. However, Intel has had last laugh braving all the challenges thrown upon itself by AMD despite being a small company. There always used to be the one-upmanship among these two companies, and it will only continue.
Therefore, there is bound to be interest among the technology experts and analysts as to who will be the first one on the next launch list, whether it is going to be Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) or Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD), since they are eager to put their highest-end processors in the market. However, the current indication is that Intel will likely launch its new E5 Xeon chip on September 9 during the Dell Precision workstations; engadget.com reported quoting Britain-based Macworld.
According to the report citing leaked roadmap, Xeon E5 processor would have 18 cores compared to the currently available four cores. Interestingly, the new launches’ lowest-spec chips would be starting with six cores.
Not To Find In Apple Store
Though the Xeon E5 would be a direct upgrade to the chips utilized in the MAC Pro, it is doubtful whether user can find an 18-core desktop in any Apple store anytime immediately. The process would be power-hungry and too hot. However, it is quite possible that a 14-core MAC would come up. It was no doubt a setback for the users.
The increased core should help those with high-duty systems and businesses that have a wider number of consecutive workloads.
