Boston, MA 06/30/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) announced on June 27, 2014 that Thomas Kilroy, who is fighting cancer, will step down from his position of global sales and marketing chief in the company after his return from the medical leave. He will cede on July 17, 2014 and will instead take up the advisory role in the company. The acting global sales and marketing chief till new recruitment will be Greg Pearson, who has led Kilroy’s division in interim as the worldwide sales and operations head.

Thomas Kilroy will be the advisory member on transition and will start working on the wider corporate strategy of Intel with the President of the company, Renee James, after the replacement has been identified by Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC).
Older Serving Roles of Kilroy in Intel
Kilroy is the 24-year Intel veteran and his job involved overseeing the entire sales as well as marketing efforts of the company across the length and breadth of the world. He became a part of the company in the year 1990 when he joined as the Sales Manager (Central Region) for the Personal Computer Enhancements Operation.
Since January 28, 2013, he had been serving as the Executive Vice President of the company. Since the year 2009, he had remained the General Manager of Sales and Marketing Group of Intel Corporation.
Since September 22, 2005, Kilroy had served as the General Manager of Digital Enterprise Group in this company.
He remained the Senior Vice President at the company from January 2010 to January 28, 2013.
He was the Corporate Vice President of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) from September 22, 2005 to January 2010.
