While the standard capture rate of license plates is 98 percent, the equipment provided 98.74 percent capture rate. As if that was not enough, the intelligent camera achieved a correct read rate of 99.61 percent, yet the standard requirement is 95 percent.
According to the company, an independent test involved installation of the gadget over a dual lane highway on two different days with varying weather conditions.
