Hong Kong SAR Government Offers Civil Engineering Contract to Jacobs Engineering Group Inc (NYSE:JEC)

Boston, MA 08/19/2014 (wallstreetpr) –According to reports, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc (NYSE:JEC) has been given a civil engineering project by Hong Kong SAR Government. The company is expected to operate and manage services for the Public Works Regional Laboratory (PWRL) in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

Why JEC:

Reports claim that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s Civil Engineering and Development Department has awarded this engineering project to the company. It has replaced the previous contract that JEC signed in year 2011.

T&C of Contract:

Under the terms and conditions of the contract, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc (NYSE:JEC) has to operate and manage PWRL (Tai Po) for as long as four years. The entire responsibility of management is on JEC. A lot of public works are done at the laboratory wherein construction materials compliance testing services are provided by the staff of JEC. The main objective of them is to make sure that things take place without any hassle. Other than the management services at the laboratory in Tai Po, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc (NYSE:JEC) is also rendering services at one other laboratory in Siu Ho Wan.
