Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Web History Page Receives A Content Redesign

Towards the beginning of the week, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) introduced new privacy settings to give users more control over their data. The company is now revamping its web page history for users to monitor their online activities in an easier manner.

The new changes will host personal data on the left side of the web page. The Data will be split into various parts; the voice and audio activity, web and app activity, YouTube search history, location history, YouTube watch history and device information.

The information offered is basically the same. The only difference is that the new design will allow users to access the information at a faster rate. Looking at it from another perspective, it might provide a better outline of what Google is gathering from the individual user.

Some of the features that will be more apparent with the new changes is the ability to playback each of the audio commands and searches that users have previously made through their computers or the mobile phones.

Most users would probably throw in more caution if they found out that their searches are being stored. Most of the user data is rendered using the material design revamp. However the two YouTube sections automatically redirect one to the actual website once users click on them. The same case applies to the location history. Clicking on it directs users back to the old location history web page.

The new changes are part of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s strategy to revamp most of its services to make them more adaptive to its preferences and plans. Additionally they are meant to give users a more satisfying and user-friendly experience. The company has been taking more precautionary measures especially changes regarding user privacy.

Some of the adjustments are expected to align with the highly anticipated Windows 10 operating system. The company aims to make sure that the web services are fully optimized to provide the best experience and performance.
