GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) Partners AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) for Improved Customer Service in Brick and Mortar Stores

Boston, MA 10/01/2014 (wallstreetpr) – GameStop Corp.(NYSE:GME) has announced that its business unit GameStop Technology Institute (GTI) will be teaming up with AT&T Inc.(NYSE:T) as the two look to focus on advancements needed to enhance positive customer experiences in brick and mortar stores. GTI Technology and AT&T will combine efforts in developing technical capabilities that can accord customers the benefit of interacting effectively with various digital product promotional materials via electronic devices.

 Fast Speeds on Offer

GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) Technology Institute will use AT&T Business Fiber services to ensure GameStop’s stores enjoy reliable high speeds for faster interaction between devices and products. GameStop Technology Institute’s senior vice president, Jeff Donaldson, has already reiterated that the unit’s main goal is to meet the needs of customers both in the physical and online stores.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) was selected for the endeavor as it can provide network capabilities that are innovative, sure to enhance GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) IT infrastructure is up to the task in connecting customers with various gaming content. GameStop is currently pursuing implementation of innovative applications as well as technologies that are expected to give it an advantage in the ever growing industry.

Bandwidth Expansion

GTI is also working on providing ultra-high bandwidth that should go a long way ensuring there is reliable delivery of rich video gaming content to customers in GameStop Corp.(NYSE:GME)’s stores. The latest partnership with AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) will mainly focus on 36 GTI store location in Austin and College Station Texas. GameStop is planning to show customers how it plans to drive various gaming content to their devices with the new technology that it is developing in partnership with AT&T.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) is to provide its mobilization experience, expected to be beneficial in ensuring better connectivity between devices and GameStop gaming content.
