Boston, MA 10/16/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc (NYSE:FBHS)’s SentrySafe has introduced a new series of high-end gun safes.
According to a press release, the world leading maker of fire-resistant safety storage containers has launched a new product line up. The new gun safes are designed to serve as an integrated protection against of firearm, security and luxury. The safes are aimed at providing protection against theft and fire and incorporate an advanced feature of its well-known third-party authorized security.

SentrySafe is well appreciated for its third-party verification feature, and Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc (NYSE:FBHS) has incorporated the special feature in its newest product range as well. The gun safes have received an ETL verification rating of 30 minutes in temperatures up to 1400 degree-F. In addition, they are equipped to provide additional protection against some of the usual break-in ways. The feature is quite similar to that of the UL Listed Residential Security Containers. Among the chief features that help the products win the high-level certification includes the fact that it is equipped with special bolts to ensure 3-way locking. Apart from this, what make the products special are its 2.5mm steel construction and an advanced Type 1 Electronic Lock, which again is a UL Listed feature.
SentrySafe’s product manager, Scott Alread, said that Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc (NYSE:FBHS) aims at providing protection not only from theft and fire of the guns, but also from the firearms itself. He underlined that the presence of guns at people’s homes should not be a threat to the family members. To ensure this, the company provides third-party protection means to its products.
SentrySafe’s latest launch includes the 26, 36 and 51 gun safes. All of the products of the series claim to offer additional flexibility for organizational purposes including those required in long guns, accessories and pistols. The models are available within a price range of $1,000 and $1,600.
