Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc (NYSE:FBHS) Offers Safety Products To Summer Travelers

Boston, MA 05/27/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Master Lock Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortune Brands Storage & Security, which is itself a subsidiary of Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc (NYSE:FBHS) is offering safety products and tips to travelers this summer.

Master Locks is reminding summer travelers the importance of safety and urging them to ensure taking safety precautions as their priority in their journeys. The comapny is insisting all types of travelers, whether they are moving out on a weekend short trip, or a week- long trip, to keep in mind effective safety tips all the time. More than 45% North Americans rely only on basic security involving locking their homes before they hit the road. But Master Lock, the leading manufacturer of security and safety products, wants to convey them the message that it is always wise for travelers to remember that no journey can be planned without necessary security, said the company’s Marketing division’s Vice President, Rebecca Smith.

Statistics say that this summer, 3.8% North Americans prefer traveling by trains, 24.17% by planes and 68.58% by automobiles. Master Lock has highlighted five important points travelers should ensure before they begin their journey. The company seeks to contribute to the safety surety of travelers by offering various secure products.

One of the products which ensure the security of travelers’ homes is the Master Lock 5422D. It allows people to have their home periodically checked by trusted peer as it comes with a spare portable key. Another product, the TSA approved luggage lock, aims to keep the handbags and travel luggage safe. Hence travelers could ensure safety of cash and valuable belongings like cameras and cell phones and enjoy their vacations with a peaceful mind. Also, at hotels, travelers can keep valuables safe in portable 5900 Safe Space. In addition to all these, Master Lock also offers them an application, called the Master Lock Vault, which lets them keep copies of important documents safely in handheld devices, which could be used in emergency cases.
