Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST) Still Under The Acquisition Procedure

The deal came into dilemma when the news dropped in the market that the bridge financing facility worth $850 million has been pulled. Robbins Arroyo LLP Announces Class Action Lawsuit

Robbins Arroyo LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST), its board of directors and Sabine Oil in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado on June 13, 2014. The allegation has been made on the behalf of shareholders of Forest Oil Corporation against the violation of sections 14(a) and 20(a) of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 14a-9.

The complaint was made after the press release on May 6, 2014 which stated the amalgamation of tow companies. Robbins Arroyo is looking for the relief on behalf of the named plaintiffs and some other shareholders of Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST). Main reason for the complaint is, these named plaintiffs are represented by Robbins Arroyo. Bu this litigation the company claims that their duties and obligations would be breached that they owe to Forest Oil shareholders.

Forest Oil Dips

Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST) dropped the maximum in the last four months as soon as the news released that the sale of $850 million loan to its investors has been delayed. The shares fell down by a margin of 18%, the biggest turn down since February 26, 2014.
