FlowTraq AND A10 Networks Inc. (NYSE:ATEN) Come Together For Automation of (DDoS) Attacks.

Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – One of the main network security software service providers FlowTraq announced on Tuesday that it will enter into a partnership deal with A10 Networks Inc. (NYSE:ATEN). It is an application networking company. The purpose of going for this partnership deal is to automate the detection services and to accelerate the mitigation of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. This can be done if FlowTraq is connected directly with A 10’s unique Threat Security System named Thunder TPS.

Perfect Match

The partnership will provide a perfect match between both the companies. Flowtraq has capabilities of analysing high volumes of network traffic while A10 Networks Inc. (NYSE:ATEN) has expertise of shaping up the traffic. This combination will yield the best possible solution for fast and automated DDoS mitigation. It’s price will also be positioned effectively at a competitive rate, in comparison to the available alternatives.

The Thunder TPS of A 10 gives good protection of network against all DDoS attacks. It is not only high performing but also ensures that service is available against all kinds of application attacks like protocol, volumetric and other such applications. On the other hand, FlowTraq with the help of advanced algorithms, detect all kinds of undesirable network errors and behaviors including DDoS attacks. This consists of behaviors like worm propagation, forced password guessing, data exfiltration etc. which is unwanted during network usage. FlowTraq constantly keeps a watch and monitor such undesirable acts throughout the network. If a particular server’s identity is not from a trusted source or its integrity is doubtful; FlowTraq automatically quarantines it. This reduces the threat and keeps the services on-going without any disruption.

Capabilities

Vincent Berk, the CEO of FlowTraq admits that A10 Networks Inc. (NYSE:ATEN) has been selected on the basis of its network traffic protection capabilities. This will take both the companies step ahead in the industry with mutual benefits. FlowTraq detects if the network is under attack and sends its information to Thunder TPS device of A10 Networks including target information. Thunder TPS, then redirects the malicious traffic to one side, by forwarding the cleaned traffic back into the network.
