Strategic investment on SaaS Company:
The strategic investment, announced on August 19, 2014, in WeSpire, a SaaS (software-as-a-service) company looking for innovative moves to follow as well as gauge the affirmative and positive business impact of engaging workforce in sustainability via technology. According to the terms and condition of the strategic agreement, the company will hold exclusive rights in the Energy Intelligence Software platform in order to sell a white-labelled edition of WeSpire’s “employee engagement application.” It is aptly tailored for the utility customers as well as the enterprise. EnerNOC, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENOC), by marketing the application, will further strengthen its competency to assist businesses. It would thereby adopt a holistic approach towards energy management.
WeSpire’s application:
With the WeSpire application, the customers can generate points for activities related to the projects, including waste, water, energy, food, transportation, volunteerism and even corporate citizenship. WeSpire, established in 2010, has already achieved remarkable traction with well know users that span Unilever, McDonald’s, MGM Resorts International and eBay. WeSpire application will be accessible by all the customers of EnerNOC, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENOC), via this agreement.
