Boston, MA 10/15/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) disclosed that Hometown News Readers has selected the company as the best Internet service provider. The recognition was in respect of three different areas of Florida’s Treasure Coast.
Hometown News Edition
According to Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)’s statement, the reader’s choice admiration was bestowed on it by Hometown News editions in Sebastian, Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce. A few months ago in July, the publication carried a section of special ‘Readers’ Choice’. It came with ballot pull-out giving its readers the opportunity to name the companies they judge as the best in their areas based on numerous categories.
It included Internet service provider. The publication carried the results in its October issues indicating that Comcast was regarded as the best Internet service provider in the three areas of Florida.
Comcast’s Regional SVP for Florida, Amy Smith, said that Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) was honored tremendously to get this recognition from the readers of Hometown News on the Treasure Coast. He said that Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)’s top priority in the entire state was to ensure an excellent experience for its customers across all services.
Business Ethernet
Separately, Comcast said that Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System has preferred its Business Ethernet Dedicated Network to offer reliable and high-capacity Internet connectivity besides expanded bandwidth support. As a result, the healthcare services provider would be able to offer functional and reliable broadband access to affiliates and partners even in the remote sites. It would help its physicians to get access to the important information they required to offer the superior level of care for the patients quickly.
Comcast Business’ VP for California region, Ted Girdner, said that currently, healthcare providers required more reliable, innovative and cost-effective solutions. He expressed his happiness that Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) was able to offer a solution improving the existing system of the healthcare service provider as it plays a critical role in the Central Coast community.
