Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CNET)’s Subsidiary Liansuo.com Sings 12 New Clients After Guangzhou Franchise Exhibition

Boston, MA 10/01/2014 (wallstreetpr) – A holding company, Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CNET) disclosed that its subsidiary, Liansuo.com, has signed a numerous fresh clients following its participation in the twenty-ninth Guangzhou Franchise Exhibition held between September 19 and 21 in China.

New Clients

According to a press statement, apart from signing of 12 fresh clients including Sesame St. English, it has also re-signed 55 current clients for the integrated marketing and advertising services platform.

Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CNET) indicated that the Guangzhou Franchise Exhibition was one of the biggest, oldest and most celebrated franchise exhibitions in China and attracted attendees, as well as, exhibitors from over 46 nations across the globe.

Apart from roping in Sesame St. English, the company also roped in a chain of retailer for expectant mothers, October Mammy, which has 800 stores in China, and Thankyou99 Hotel. For Chinanet, the exhibition was undoubtedly a successful one since it enabled the company to reach a wide spectrum of potential clients during the three-day period. As far as the primary objectives, it made it clear that building a prospective pipeline and brand identity besides signing new clients were the objectives for the event.

Franchise Industry

Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CNET) cited China’s Ministry of Finance data to point out that the franchise industry in China has a growth at a pace of 50% – 60% and has become the biggest franchise market in the world.

Chinanet said that it would continue its concentration on its efforts on this big and growing market through cost effective advertising offering besides value-added services to franchisors.

The company’s subsidiary, Liansuo.com, has delivered solid uptick in the medium to big size segment of the market. For instance, in September, its clients’ base jumped 56% to more than 238 million from 153 clients in December 2013. Liansuo is predicted to achieve break even in the current year.
