Boston, MA 06/13/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Carnival Corporation (NYSE:CCL)’s unit Carnival, the world’s number one cruise line, along with the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers organized a fun event for local children.
The youth of Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex areas, along with their families gathered for an event organized by the companies on Sunday. It was a special day for 500 children who gathered at Dr Pepper Ballpark for fun, food and baseball. The event “Carnival Kids Day” marked the inauguration of Carnival’s multi- year partnership with the RoughRiders, who play their amazing games at Dr Pepper Ballpark, Frisco, Texas.

Participants of the “Carnival Kids Day” event came from varied organizations of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Some of the organizations that participated include Greater Dallas and Rockwall County, Greater Fort Worth, and a host of other organizations.
Participants enrolled themselves in various fun activities and took photos with players of the RoughRiders. Additionally, all the participants were given complimentary tickets for the various games as well as for parking. Carnival also added its own style to the event. It gave kids a chance to practice their swing and pitching with a set of an inflatable batter’s box and ball. It also provided them with an airbrush face coloring station which let children design their own backpack. Another interesting addition was the photo booth where players would pose for their individual take away baseball card. Carnival Corporation (NYSE:CCL) also offered children an opportunity to taste the sweet Pucker Powder Candy.

Carnival Corporation (NYSE:CCL), the Official Cruise Line of the RouhgRiders, is aiming to host a range of other fun activities all through the remaining season of the year. It aims at giving fans the chance to get specially designed promotions at every game, blowing the Carnival ship horn and launching fireworks at every game RoughRiders win. It also initiated a promotional event last weekend called “Carnival Crush Inning”. It is also sponsoring the Carnival Getaway Grill which features the many ballpark favorites.
