BHP Donates US$250,000

Arkansas has been duly devastated by recent tornadoes. BHP Billiton Limited (ADR) (NYSE:BHP) donated $250,000, so as to augment disaster relief process, to the American Red Cross. BHP President, Tim Cutt stated that the tornadoes had severe impacts on people hailing from different communities, and hopes that this donation shall assist Red Cross in its Disaster Relief and Recovery endeavors. BHP further promised to donate $2/dollar to each of its employees, who made a donation.
