By employing this system, now the users can enjoy AT&T’s network features throughout the facility. DAS has been successful so far in providing increased and consistent wireless coverage both indoors and outdoors. Further, this system is best suited where the geographical conditions are rough or inaccessible and is totally impossible to deploy a conventional wireless system like some rugged terrain or highly a crowded city.
T operates almost an entire national Wi-Fi network
DAS installation in Bud Walton Arena is a part of AT&T’s VIP (Velocity IP) Project, which is a multi-year plan to elevate growth and was announced in 2012. Over all AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has been successful in building a well-knit Wi-Fi network which includes 34000+ AT&T Hot Spots in various popular hotels, coffee-shops, bookstores, and restaurants.
