AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) Breaks All Sales Record Of iPhone; Thanks, To Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)

Boston, MA 09/15/2014 (wallstreetpr) – The wireless telecom industry of the U.S. might be in a stiff competition, but the silent worker, AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) seems to be enjoying the most. While other major carriers, viz. Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ), Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) and T-Mobile US Inc (NYSE:TMUS) keep revealing about their plans now and then, AT&T hardly makes a noise! This time too, without creating a lot of hassle out of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus deal, AT&T set its own new record for the sale of this latest mobile.

Reservation System at AT&T for iPhone 6

Apple’s new devices usually witness this scenario and this time too; AT&T’s backend became so full of order that it put the entire system of hold. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) stopped giving any response to the customers and instead, pushed Apple to follow the reservation system. This system had to wait eventually for a long time till AT&T completed the orders and resumed.

Apple’s Tech Magic

The “tech magic” that Apple manages to create every time with its new devices has cast its spell this time as well, and the ones enjoying on this magic spell are the carriers. Although AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) did not reveal the number of devices it sold as a matter of “new record,” but reportedly, Apple had ordered a total of whooping 80 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices. All these units were later distributed at Apple stores, retailers and carrier outlets. The number of units that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) ordered is indeed a new record and more interestingly, iPhone 6 Plus went out of stock at the Apple’s stores itself, just after a few hours of its availability. Also, the online stores set the sales record for these two devices.

The CEO & President of AT&T Mobility Feels “Terrific”

Nevertheless, bragging about AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T)’s “best pricing,” Mr. Lurie said that a combination of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with U.S.’ extremely reliable 4G LTE networkas well as service, will allow customers to enjoy the experience more.
