Boston, MA 09/24/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s latest launches are facing consumer complaints already as the phones are susceptible to bending.
Permanent Bents
As a TechnoBuffalo article noted, the new iPhone 6 is facing much criticism from customers who complained that their phones have noticeable bents after some time of usage. The article points out most major new releases are associated with problems and iPhones do have complaints when they are initially launched. However, the problem with the recent ones seems disturbing. The phones are likely to bend, with an irreversible effect. Since this is not what Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) had planned, and is not part of the model’s design, it is luring huge negative attention.
Although as of now the problem has been reported to occur with only the iPhone 6, it is feared that a similar issue may also be encountered with the iPhone 6 Plus. What is most fretful about the bending issue is that it is permanent. As tech geeks take a look into the issue, Apple is facing severe criticism. Though the designs are appealing and beautiful, most of Apple’s products are likely to always encounter some problem. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) claims to design its products meticulously and carefully, and it is most likely that all the products undergo some testing procedures before they hit the market.
User Story
The present issues were raised in the MacRumors forums. According to a user, who posted pictures of his bent iPhone 6, the pocket is no longer a safe place to hold the phone. He claims to have carried the phone for about 18 hours in an outside party, post that he noticed a significant bent in his latest acquisition. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) still faces the threat that more and more may come up with similar complaints.
It is noteworthy that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s previous release, the iPhone 5S had also faced similar issues. If speculations are to be believed, the lighter and thinner a phone is, the less durable it will be.
