Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) To Launch iPhone 6 On 19th Sept?

Boston, MA 05/30/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Even as reports are pouring as to what are the likely features to be accommodated in the technology bellwether and Smartphone maker Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s forthcoming iPhone 6, there are also speculations about the date of its launch in September.

Date Of Launch

So far, there has been no communication from the company as to when they are likely to launch the much awaited Smartphone. However, the tablet and Smartphone maker will likely unveil its iPhone 6 on September 6, a Friday if the reported clues provided by Deutsche Telekom, a German telecom carrier, are of any indications.

The German telephone carrier has its own reasons to speculate. They have cited the previous two roll outs in September. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) launched its iPhone 5 on September 21, 2012, to push its sales vigorously during the weekend. Similarly, the technology company preferred to launch its iPhone 5S on September 20. Both the days fell on Friday s.

Therefore, the logic is that the company will likely launch its iPhone 6 on September 16. Aside from this logic, Apple has always preferred to have the September quarter boosted by its new launches going by the experience. Their fiscal year also ends in September. While the September quarter may have limited impact from the new launches, the numbers could sometimes give the company enough room to either beat or miss analysts’ expectations as far as profit or revenue is concerned, which drive the sentiments of investors. For this, at least two weeks of sales were needed for the company to derive some benefits from its new products.

Possible Features

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is likely to provide 4.7 inch screen in iPhone 6, and this will be followed by another variant, a 5.5 inch model. The device is rumored to feature iPad Air-like design, 8 MP camera, health-centric features, A8 processor, and thinner body, additional functions for a touch fingerprint sensor, solar charging and NFC.
