Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) Ranked No.1 In The Best Global Brands

Boston, MA 10/01/2013 (wallstreetpr) – Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) again proved that they are one of the top most global brands. On Monday, Apple was crowned as the most valuable brand all across the world followed by the annual survey. It defeated Coca Cola that had a winning streak of 13 consecutive years. In the inter brand survey of the world’s most valuable brand, Apple left the soft drink giant behind and became the no.1 brand all across the globe with Google in the second position. The survey was based on numerous factors including the financial performance of the company.

According to Apple Inc, a company can change lives with its “ethos”, apart from the products it delivers to the world and that is the only reason why Apple left all the brands behind and is now at the top of the Best Global Brands.

Interbrand, one of the world’s largest branding consultancies and a subsidiary of Omnicom Group noted Apple’s strong team made by CEO Mr. Tim Cook, the legions of admiring fans and the high aesthetic standards and ranked it number 1. According to the consultancy, Apple became the most valuable company in the year 2012 when it reached the financial pinnacle. However, the peak value was not persistent but the brand’s financial position was much stronger in 2012 as compared to 2011 on a popularity basis and Apple still thrives for more.

Topped by Apple Inc, the top ten lists of most valuable brands is dominated by the major tech companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, IBM, GE and Intel. There are now only two drink and food retailers in the list with Coca Cola in the third position and McDonald’s in the seventh. Despite Coca Cola’s fall from the number one position as the most valuable brand, it still retains the world’s most recognizable brand title.
