Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Products Are The Most Fragile

(NASDAQ:AAPL) products according to a research by an insurance firm are the most fragile; this is news you could not have wished to hear having already purchased one. Something of a concern is that Apple products are not superior as normally thought, when compared to those of its fierce rival, Samsung Electronics. IPad mini has been rooted as the most fragile with Samsung Galaxy S4 following suit from behind according to the research by the insurance firm.

Factors considered under the test

The research carried out took into consideration factors like durability of the device when put under extreme working conditions. This involved dropping a device into a concrete floor of which Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) devices see m to have failed. The study also took into consideration the design construction and weight of the device, to come to the final conclusion. Grip ability was one of the other factors that should have made most of the devices to be fragile and their ability to operate sufficiently even after falling into water.

A score was given to each device after being dropped to determine its breakability; the highest score was given to the device with the highest chance of breaking

Apple takes first spoils for being fragile

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) devices are the most fragile as four of its latest products failed the testing a list of ten. The four products that have been brought into question include the likes of iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Three of Samsung devices also enjoined Apple in the list with three of Google devices following suit and two of nexus tablets.

IPad Mini took the spoils by coming in first with a score of 7.5 followed closely by Samsung Galaxy S4 which had a score of 7, the third position saw a tie of iPad Air and Samsung Galaxy S3 both of which gathered a score of 6.5. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 5c and Nexus 7 2012 competed the list of top 5 most fragile devices with a score of 6. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 5s also tied with a score of 5.5 with Nexus 7 2013 following closely with a score of 5. Motorola’s was not left behind neither, as its flagship device Moto X competed the list of the top 10 most fragile devices with a score of 4.5.
