Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5C and 5S hits a record sales

Boston, MA 09/24/2013 (wallstreetpr) – On Friday, Apple Inc. debuted its new iPhones 5C and 5S at all its retail stores all across the world and attracted long streaks of buyers everywhere. This is Apple’s biggest move this year to fortify new growth in the mobile market.

A great demand for these new iPhones was seen everywhere. Around 2,000 people in Munich and 300 in Paris lined up before 8 am opening of the stores. A great enthusiasm was seen in Tokyo Ginza area, where around 800 people dressed up as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a black turtleneck and a face mask and also as Batman and waited for the store to open and become the first buyer of Apple’s new iPhones.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) retails stores also welcomed customers in Singapore, Hong Kong, U.K., France, Germany, China and the U.S. on Friday. This is the first time when Apple rolled out its product for sale on the same day in China unlike the usual 3 months delay, as the firm didn’t wanted to miss the potential customers from the world’s biggest mobile phone market country.

Carl Howe, an analyst at Yankee Group said that the sales of these new iPhones depend completely on the yield of these products and if the firm has enough handsets, it could top 7 million in sales in the opening weekend. Gene Musters, an analyst at Piper Jaffray also predicted that 6 million handsets will be sold even though the firm does not have enough iPhones as new fingerprint reading technology makes this product harder to construct. Brian Marshall, an ISI group analyst also has the same prediction that Apple will anyhow sale 6 million handsets.

In only 3 days of launching its new iPhones 5C and 5S, Apple has already hit a record of selling more than 9 million handsets. Contrary to the analysts who predicted about 5 million devices to be sold in 3 days, Apple has again proved that it is the best in the mobile phone market and has shown its charisma once again.
