Sources say that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) have been involved in chalking out plans for a new set top box service to which boasts of assisting content providers in avoiding congestion of public segments in ISPs network. They also plan to dedicate a segment to an ISP also guaranteeing delivery.

Apple files a patent application for “Input Device Having Extendable Nib”

The US Patent and Trademark office reportedly published a patent application, which was filed by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) in order to obtain a patent over their so-called invention which is nothing an Input device having an extended nib in order to enhance your working experience with your tablets. They propose to offer a whole new set of capabilities with its new design which is to become more flexible and user-friendly than any other input device known to man. It would feel like a paintbrush and not like a pen or pencil. The nib is reported to have been made out of a conductive fiber called Mylar. This device will have an actuator or switch just like some pens and pencils that we use have.

Apple wins the turf war against Samsung

The ongoing battle over patents infringement finally comes to an end when the Judge Kojiu Hasegawa of the Tokyo District Court rules in favor of Apple saying that the products of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) namely iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and iPhone 4 do not infringe Samsung’s patents over data communication. Sources say that Samsung’s clearly all cast down and disgruntled over the judgment.

Apple all set to launch the new MacBook Air with the much-awaited Retina Display

Sources reveal that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is finally prepared to launch the new MacBook Air models with Retina Display later this year with an estimate of 10 million units in the first phase.
