Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Captures Exclusive British Lovefilm

This time around this retailerwho broke all the norms of ecommerce, has now began to stylize and deliver entertainment content which will move its Amazon Prime Instant Video to the next level.

Amazon bags Ripper Street

One of Britain most successful drama series- Ripper Street- which held audience spell bound will now be available to Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Prime Instant Video. The ecommerce giant while announcing the commencement of its premier instant video services has reworked its Lovefilm service. The new service which will include video will be available at £30 higher for Prime members.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has already added Ripper Street to the video offering. Other programs such as Alpha House will also be available. The other programs in the program will include Warner Brother s TV show and will offer Arrow, Hostages and the much loved The Following besides the Revolution. The 100 too will now be available as part of the Prime Instant Video service.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Prime members in the UK, are not exactly welcoming the additional 30 pounds required for the exclusive services.  However, for the happy viewers who want Lovefilm will now expect uninterrupted viewing pleasure.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) US services includes a segment called Lovefilm Instant. However, for its UK audience, the ecommerce giant has opted to rename it as Amazon Prime Instant Video.

Though, the product will remain the same, the difference would be in the name and logo. However, the scope is not in the current programs the company offers but the future, where it expects to offer a rental as well as purchase of digital downloads of new movies. The latest of the movies which will soon be available include Captain Philips as well as Despicable 2. These will continue to be offered at pervious subscription fees. This will now allow users to watch movies offline as well.
