The company said that workstations of broadcasters with AMD professional graphics would benefit from higher GPU memory sizes, driver quality, superior multi-display 4K capabilities and certified ISV applications allowing users to do more and quickly, its statement said. (NYSE:AMD) pointed out that ASSIMILATE’s SCRATCH software was showing the way of 4K production dailies besides digital transitional workflows for TV Shows, commercials, and feature films. Its software outperformed when it exploited AMD FirePro graphics power of GPU technology. The software company felt that AMD’s FireProW8100 card has lifted the game for its SCRATCH artists providing real-time 4K performance. AMD quoted the software company as saying that the price-performance level was matched by the demand from its artists and that the combination of AMD and Dell delivered what their customers expected.
