CYS Investments Inc (NYSE:CYS) released its earnings for the three month period that finished on September 30, 2013. Its net earnings for ordinary shares were $25.4 million during the period, or $0.14 per reduced ordinary share common share, which could be matched to a total loss of$402.3 million, or $2.32 per reduced ordinary share, in the second trimester this year.
In the earnings released, the company’s central was $61.2 million, or $0.36 per reduced ordinary share. The company made total profit from assets of $15.8 million, which comprises of $407.7 million of total loss in the three months period ending this week, which matches the total compared to a total loss on investments of $656.3 million, which comprised of $211.4 million of total loss in the second quarter this year.
The company’s total investment per common share was $10.10, after it had announced a dividend of $0.34 per ordinary share this quarter. Its procedural costs were $5.6 million, which represented 1.13% of standard total resources, its procedural expenses remained the same during the period. The company has announced a general dividend of $0.34 per for this period which was the same case in the second trimester of this year.
In the month of November last year the Board of Directors of the company had allowed to buy back ordinary shares of the company that had a total value of up to $250 million. During this trimester of 2013, the Company bought back 5.9 million shares with an average price of $7.77, that amounted to $46.1 million. since the start of the year the company has bought back 8.4 million shares with a total price per share of $8.62, that amounted to a total of $72.4 million.
