Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) Corporation Imminent Compensation Structural Changes

Boston, MA 02/05/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is in line to implement new structural changes that will involve an increase in the number of management employee who can own stock. The new changes according Intel CEO Brian Krzanichs are part of changes aimed at bringing together the financial interests of employees and shareholders. The new changes will see a total of 350 senior leaders owning Intel corporation shares as of 2014. This is a significant change considering only 50 managers were required to own a company stock in the previous structure. The new changes will also see the 50% bonus cash that is normally awarded to employees be awarded depending on performance, the payouts will also be made on a quarterly base rather than a semi-annual basis.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) Chief Financial Officer Stacy Sold a total of 51,217 shares at an average price of $24.81 a transaction that resulted in a total earning of $1.27 million. The CFO has now been left with a total of 145, 009 shares valued at $3.5 million. The company posted quarterly earnings on January 15, 2014 that showed a slight drop compared to consensus estimates. Intel earnings per share stood at $0.51 compared to analysts’ estimate of $0.52, Intel revenue for the quarter slightly surpassed analysts’ estimates hitting the $13.80 billion compared to consensus estimates of $13.72 billion. For the current fiscal year the company is expected to post earnings per share totaling $1.85.

 Intel Quarterly dividend

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has recently announced plans to offer quarterly dividends which are expected to start on March 1, 2014. A 0.225 dividend per share will be offered to shareholders who will have bought the company’s shares as of February 7, 2014. This is essentially represents a $0.90 dividend on an annualized basis with a yield of 3.76%
