It operates in 5 business segments: Canada and Australia, U.S. Neurology and Other, U.S. Dermatology, Branded Generics -Latin America and Branded Generics &#8211; Europe<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Within the U.S. Dermatology segment and its Branded Generic &#8211; Europe segment it generates service-revenue from contract-services in the areas of topical medication and dermatology. On 12 December 2011, it acquired Janssen Pharmaceuticals\u2019 Ortho Dermatologics division assets. On 16 December 2011, it acquired the dermatology-business, Dermik, of Sanofi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<b>More acquisitions<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0On 21 December 2011, the company acquired iNova, from Ironbridge Capital, Archer Capital, and other minority-management shareholders. On 1 February 2012, it bought Probiotica Laboratorios Ltda. On 3 February 2012, the Company Valeant Pharmaceuticals Intl Inc (NYSE:VRX) divesting 1% clindamycin and the 5% of benzoyl peroxide gel, which is a generic-version of Benzaclin. Apart from this it also divested 5% fluorouracil cream to to Mylan Inc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The product is an authorized-generic of Efudex, On 12 March 2012, it bought a 19.9 percent minority-equity investment in Pele Nova Biotecnologia. \u00a0In 2012 September, it acquired Visudyne.
