Analysts on the Wall Street have reinstated the earnings per share estimates for the company at $1.17, and iStock reported that the company shall probably beat these consensus estimates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is worth noting that Citigroup, Inc. (NYSE:C) has been successful in topping the consensus estimates of research analysts in the market for the past four consecutive years. Furthermore, the company has also been successful in delivering around 11 positive surprises to investors in the last 16 quarterly releases. The company had on an average beat the consensus estimates by around 471.39 percent in the reported 11 results, which were better than expectations. However, in the remaining five quarterly results in which the company underperformed, it had missed the expectations by a whopping 925 percent on the downside.
