Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced off against a persistent heckler<\/a> who demanded she comment on President Biden’s “warmongering” Oval Office speech.<\/p>\n

Clinton spoke on a panel at Columbia University\u2019s “Making Human Rights Come Alive: The UDHR at 75”<\/a> event discussing the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on Monday.<\/p>\n

During the discussion, a heckler demanded that Clinton denounce Biden\u2019s speech<\/a> Thursday in favor of funding military efforts in Israel and Ukraine as they both face ongoing wars.<\/p>\n

“Can you please make a statement about President Joe Biden\u2019s speech? This is a clearly warmongering speech! President Joe Biden is calling for $100 billion of funding for Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine, and we\u2019re supposed to just bundle these together and pretend like we\u2019re going to rush to World War III, and we\u2019re all just gonna let Hillary Rodham Clinton sit here and \u2014” someone in the audience shouted said before Clinton interjected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

HILLARY CLINTON FLOATS \u2018FORMAL DEPROGRAMMING\u2019 OF TRUMP SUPPORTERS, SUGGESTS GOP BASE IS MADE OF BIGOTS<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m sorry. You know, this is \u2014 this is not a way to have a conversation. You want to have a conversation, you are welcome to come talk to me afterwards,” Clinton said.<\/p>\n

“I do not believe you,” the heckler continued. “Respectfully, I do not believe you. And the fact of the matter is that the American people\u2019s voice is what needs to be heard, because\u2026 because our president is not speaking for the American people, and neither are you.”<\/p>\n

“Well, then sit down! We heard your opinion. Thank you very much,” Clinton attempted.<\/p>\n

The man continued to shout down Clinton, claiming that he was “going to exercise” his free speech rights.<\/p>\n

“But it\u2019s not free speech when you\u2019re disrupting everybody else\u2019s opportunity to speech,” Clinton shot back.<\/p>\n

“It is. This is free speech! Everyone, this is free speech!” the man shouted as an official attempted to stop him. “That is not free speech. This is people constructing narratives that are openly hypocritical.”<\/p>\n

CLINTON\u2019S \u2018DEPROGRAMMING\u2019 HOPES FOR A TRUMP SUPPORTERS A LONG SHOT IN ERA OF POLITICAL SILOS<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The heckler continued to demand that Clinton comment on Biden\u2019s speech, further denouncing Biden\u2019s speech as “openly warmongering, suicidal and idiotic.” The crowd was heard applauding as he left.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prior to his interruption, Clinton promoted “name and shame” efforts to call out countries guilty of human rights violations such as China putting Uyghur Muslims<\/a> in concentration camps.<\/p>\n

“This is not something that goes unnoticed. They don\u2019t want to be called out. They don\u2019t want the truth to be disseminated. So that\u2019s a very powerful tool for NGOs as well as international organizations,” Clinton said.<\/p>\n
