Jim McNerney the Chairman, President and the Chief Executive Officer of the company along with Greg Smith the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company will have discussion on the results and company\u2019s outlook.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The shares gained 2.38% in its previous trading session and closed at $103.15 per share, around 6.58 million shares traded on Thursday\u2019s trading session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Boeing has received an order from Air India Ltd for a fleet of five Boeing\u2019s 787 Dreamliner planes. Earlier in the year 2006, Air India had ordered 27 Dreamliners being one of the first customers of Boeing for Dreamliner. In that year Boeing\u2019s aircraft leasing and financing unit Boeing Capital Corp has financed loan for these 27 planes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Dreamliner plane is cheap in operating than any other wide-body aircraft as these are fuel efficient and consumes lesser fuel. The company has posted losses over the past consecutive five years, to turn profitable Dreamliner is central to Air India. On March 25, 2013 Boeing\u2019s 787 took its first flight on at Paine Field in Everett. Due to some technical problem in the battery of the plane, there was a danger of fire with lithium-ion battery and the aircraft was grounded. The company has improved the battery quality keeping in mind the safety measures. Boeing has received certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration for the same in April and the flights have been resumed in May 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Boeing Company is an aerospace company which offers a comprehensive portfolio of commercial aviation services which is collectively known as Boeing Edge. The company operates in five segments namely\u00a0Boeing Military Aircraft, Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Capital Corporation, Global Services &amp; Support and Network &amp; Space Systems.
