(NASDAQ:AAPL) is engaging in such contracts to undermine the ability of its competitor, Amazon to sell electronic books for as low as $9.99 and thereby squeeze out heavy profits from the customers who now have fewer options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Such allegations against Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) are being commented as pointless and harmful to the growth of innovativeness in the industry, despite the fact that the Department of Justice is trying to curb companies from entering into anti competitive practices. The prosecution had finally ended up in showing how pointless the antitrust laws of the government are, instead of confirming the need for stricter antitrust enforcement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The share prices of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) had declined by 1.46 percent to close at $416.84 per share for the end of last trading session on Thursday.
