The shares of the company had been trading in the range of $897.50 to $910.84 per share during the day. The shares of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) had recorded 52 week low price level at $557.21 per share and 52 week high price level at $920.60 per share.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The recent reports by the National Security Agency\u2019s PRISM online surveillance program had revealed that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) had played an important role in the compilation of user data to help the government of United States to monitor e-mails and other communications online. This report had slammed the credibility and trust worthiness of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) against the wall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Though Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) would be facing quite a bit of backlash owing to such reports, the intensity would not be as much higher for the reports on involvement in the PRISM program than for the denial by the company of such an involvement. While several other technology companies had come forward to say that they were not complicit in the program and they did not grant direct access to servers as was claimed in the reports, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) had noted that the company had only given out the user data that was legally required and only to the minimum extent of law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In line with this development, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) had filed a motion with the foreign intelligence surveillance court claiming to allow companies like them to reveal more in their bi annual transparency reports so that companies would have flexibility to separate criminal requests from national security requests at the local, state and national levels.
