“Wheel of Fortune” fans took to social media Wednesday night to air their grievances with host Pat Sajak<\/a> about his ruling against contestant Neetu Varshney on a puzzle.<\/p>\n

Varshney, a teacher and STEM supervisor for Clark Public Schools in New<\/a> Jersey, appeared to say “In a moment\u2019s notice” during the puzzle, which was the second “Toss Up” of the night in which the letters appear one at a time and the contestants ring in to guess without spinning.<\/p>\n

Sajak rejected her guess, and fellow contestant Jeremy Manos ended getting the $2,000 when he guessed “At a moment\u2019s notice.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Afterward, Sajak told Varshney she “Almost got it, but it\u2019s \u2018At<\/i>\u00a0a moment\u2019s notice,\u2019”\u00a0he said, emphasizing the word “at.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Manos won the game with\u00a0$49,618 in cash and trips.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Varshney went home with a $1,000 consolation prize after not winning any money during the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“@WheelofFortune @patsajak\u00a0NEETU got robbed on that puzzle solve!” one Twitter user wrote<\/a> after watching the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Neetu deserved that puzzle win\u00a0@WheelofFortune#wheeloffortune she definitely said “At a moment\u2019s notice,” another wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A third complained, “I\u2019m so glad to see other people that care\u2014 because you can absolutely see the upset in her face. It wasn\u2019t right, it\u2019s dismissive and a total let down by\u00a0@WheelofFortune @CBS @TheVannaWhite #neetu deserves better.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

A fourth protested, “Neetu got screwed!! Clean your ears, Pat!!\u00a0#WheelOfFortune\u00a0@WheelofFortune.”<\/p>\n

Another fan felt that Varshney had also guessed the first “Toss Up” correctly, which was “Mall of America” but sounded a bit like “Mail of America” possibly because of her accent, according to the viewer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“@WheelofFortune You all robbed\u00a0Neetu on last night’s episode. She said the first two puzzles correctly but because\u00a0of her accent Pat “old Man sajak” said incorrect. I watched over and over again and she had Both Mall of America & At A moment’s notice correctly!”<\/p>\n

The same person who called Sajak\u2019s response “dismissive” agreed that Varshney\u2019s accent contributed to her being heard incorrectly. “@WheelofFortune NEETU LEGIT SAID TWO PUZZLES CORRECTLY AND YALL TOLD HER SHE WAS WRONG. ITS HER ACCENT\u2014 BOTH PUZZLES SHE WAS CORRECT ON!!! Y\u2019all robbed her, that ain\u2019t right at all.”<\/p>\n

Another suggested Varshney deserves a redo episode.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Neetu answered correctly. she has an accent\u00a0@WheelofFortune she deserves another episode,” the user wrote.<\/p>\n

Sajak, who has hosted since 1981, occasionally gets flak<\/a> from fans on social media over his rulings.<\/p>\n
