1 Tbsp. sea salt<\/p>\n

1 Tbsp. black pepper<\/p>\n

1 tsp. Onion & Garlic Tableside Sprinkle or onion and garlic seasoning of choice<\/p>\n

1 Tbsp. seasoning of choice or try Flat Irons Prime Rib Rub, Native Texan BBQ Rub, Pikes Peak Butcher’s Rub or Red Rocks Hickory Smoke Seasoning<\/p>\n

2 Tbsp. honey<\/p>\n

2 Tbsp. yellow mustard<\/p>\n

1 (4 to 5 lb.) trimmed brisket flat<\/p>\n

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil<\/a><\/p>\n

1 yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced<\/p>\n

6 garlic cloves, chopped<\/p>\n

1 cup beef broth<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Stir together salt, pepper, onion and garlic tableside sprinkle, seasoning of choice, honey, and mustard.<\/p>\n

2. Rub mixture all over brisket. Set seasoned brisket in a large baking dish, fat side up, and let sit at room temperature for one hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 250 \u00b0F.<\/p>\n

3. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion<\/a> and cook until softened, about 5 min.\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. Add garlic and cook for one more min.<\/p>\n

5. Remove from heat and stir in broth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

6. Spoon onion-broth mixture over brisket.<\/p>\n

7. Cover dish tightly with foil. Bake for<\/a> four-to-five hours, or until the brisket reaches 195 \u00b0F and is fork tender.<\/p>\n

8. Remove from oven, replace foil, and rest brisket for 50 to 60 min before slicing thinly across the grain.<\/p>\n

9. Serve with onions and juice spooned over the top.<\/p>\n
