Our politically correct, self-appointed overlords, the perpetual “Karens” who made every high school cafeteria\u00a0a survival test of social standing, want them to stay silent and in their respective corners. As it turns out,\u00a0Love ISN\u2019T love\u00a0if you don\u2019t love the exact same things as the politically correct.<\/p>\n

Take Elon Musk<\/a>, who might have thought free speech was something Americans valued along with a fact-check, especially since Twitter offered so many. But in the attempt to turn the hyperbolic echo chamber of the chronically unprofitable Twitter into a business where customers have an actual say, he\u2019s made some powerful enemies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hillary Clinton-linked dark money shills\u00a0have been going after Twitter\u00a0advertisers saying that a profitable social media site would\u00a0“toxify”\u00a0communication. They can\u2019t have a free citizenry speaking truth to power or knowing truth at all. Why else do you\u00a0think Democrats invested in fake news sites\u00a0during an election year?\u00a0<\/p>\n

One wonders where these fact-checkers were when the United Nations reported years ago that locations like Twitter were being used to\u00a0facilitate terrorist activities, or when the\u00a0New York Post\u00a0<\/i>was kicked off Twitter for telling the truth about Hunter Biden\u2019s abandoned laptop, full of troubling details of influence peddling allegedly implicating President Joe Biden.\u00a0“Twitter allows the likes of\u00a0Louis Farrakhan, Richard Spencer, Ali Khamenei, Nicolas Maduro and O.J. Simpson to\u00a0tweet freely,”\u00a0noted Fox.<\/a>\u00a0But God forbid anything that ruffles AOC\u2019s feathers escapes the fact-checkers.<\/p>\n

It seems that the Twitter\u2019s Karen patrol was willing to overlook a little terrorism chatter if Christians kept quiet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Case in point: Consider\u00a0the recent controversy\u00a0surrounding former\u00a0“Full House”\u00a0s<\/i>tar Cameron Candace Bure<\/a>, who has made a career out of programming you don\u2019t need to shut off when a child enters a room.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The publicly Christian actress<\/a> had the nerve to say that a Christian faith-based Great American Family Network (GAF) would\u2026 wait for it\u2026 portray Christian faith in a positive way and even would agree with thousands of years of human history by supporting traditional marriage. That means \u2013 in today\u2019s culture, it needs a definition \u2013 the union of one man and one woman as the heart of a family, working together for better for worse, for richer for poorer, for as long as they both shall live.\u00a0<\/p>\n

CANDACE CAMERON BURE DISCUSSES ‘DIFFICULT YEAR,’ HOW FAITH IS HER ‘CORE AND FOUNDATION’<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

As I\u2019ve been married 30 years, you don\u2019t need to tell me that marriage requires something significant or that some people don\u2019t make it. But that\u2019s not the point.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Candace Bure merely said the GAF network would support storylines with such families. She noted that there were other networks, like the Hallmark Channel, offering other kinds of content and other kinds of relationships.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Usually, when conservatives get offended by content, the advice is “just don\u2019t watch it.” Well back at ya. No one will be forced to watch, and no one forces people to log into Twitter.<\/p>\n

In fact,\u00a0no one is even forced to work there. Musk last week told his staff \u2013 again in a shocking act among the snowflake cohort \u2013 that if they wanted their job at Twitter, they would have to\u2026 work.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On seeing the outrage, one might think that the Babylon Bee made a spoof: “Millennials and Gen Z told to work for a paycheck. Tears Drown Emotional Support Animals.”<\/p>\n

The very existence of an alternative point of view or any alternative outlet is a mental splinter to the left. You can have any opinion that you like\u2026 as long as it’s theirs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nobody knows that better than Dave Chappelle. The talented comedian goes out of his way to say he supports all people, and yet, by\u00a0holding on to the right to make a joke, he\u2019s controversial.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unlike Candace Bure, parents can\u2019t watch Chappelle\u2019s shows without the remote handy. Any honest assessment of the gritty humor shows that no one fully escapes without a jab. And that\u2019s his comedy, for which he won the\u00a0Mark Twain Prize\u00a0for American Humor at a John F. Kennedy Center\u00a0event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He won because he\u2019s funny, unlike the current crop of\u00a0sagging lecturers masquerading\u00a0as “comedians” on late-night TV. Ratings are a brutally honest assessment of talent.<\/p>\n

Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” Sadly, cancel culture provides<\/a> that beating for too many today.<\/p>\n
