Lucata Corporation has announced that AT&T Inc.\u2019s (NYSE: T)<\/strong> former CTO John Donovan will join its board of directors. According to Lucata’s CEO and chairman, Donovan agreeing to serve as a board member and investor for the company shows his confidence in its vision, innovation, and the demand that will come.<\/p>\n

Donovan was previously the CEO for AT&T Communications, LLC, which AT&T Inc owns, between August 2017 and October 2019. Before that, he acted as the CTO of AT&T Inc between April 2008 and January 2012.<\/p>\n

Zacks Analyst has also reported that AT&T had lost -7.4% in its last quarter. However, things for the company are taking a turn as they see an increase in their subscriber base.<\/p>\n

The global data center market could surge<\/b><\/p>\n

In other news, a report indicates that the international data center market could reach $77 billion in 2021 due to rising demand for new data centers in banking, IT and Telecom, service and investments, and finance.<\/p>\n

Experts believe that the growth will continue because of the increased adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for security implementation and project management in the IT and BFSI sectors. For this reason, experts think the market will grow to $279 billion by 2031.<\/p>\n

Another factor that is giving the market a boost is the development of green data centers in China, Japan, and India. These centers have the benefit of being energy efficient and not obsoleting systems.<\/p>\n

Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) appointed a new CEO<\/b><\/p>\n

Parag Agrawal has been allowed as the new CEO of Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) after Jack Dorsey resigned. Agrawal, 37 years old, is the youngest CEO at an S&P 500 company. The appointment of Agrawal shows that Twitter is following trends set by Amazon, Alphabet Inc, and Amazon by hiring an insider to fill the position.<\/p>\n

Agrawal has worked for Twitter for over ten years. He began working as a software engineer when the company promoted him to CTO in 2017 to oversee Twitter’s technical strategy.
